Background & Education

Abul Abbas Muhammad Khan grew up in the UK, where he began his journey in seeking Islamic knowledge under the guidance of Sheikh Suhaib Abdul Ghaffar Hasan.

He later travelled to Kuwait to further his studies, benefiting from a number of scholars, including Muhammad Hisham Tahiri. He then continued his studies at Umm al-Qura University, where he studied under prominent scholars such as Wasiullah Abbas and Hasan al-Bukhari, among others.

Teaching Journey

Abul Abbas Muhammad Khan has taught a wide range of Islamic sciences over the years through structured classes and study circles. His areas of teaching include ʿAqīdah, Fiqh, Ḥadīth, Sīrah, and the Arabic language.

Among his recent teaching accomplishments is the completion of Ash-Shamā’il al-Muḥammadiyyah by Imam al-Tirmidhi, alongside other classical texts and treatises.

Leadership & Community Engagement

He currently serves as Imam at Masjid Samr Centre, where he is actively involved in delivering sermons, leading prayers, and providing religious guidance to the community.

He is also the Head of Markaz Ibn Kathir, an online platform dedicated to the dissemination of authentic Islamic knowledge. In addition, he is in the process of launching an Islamic counselling service aimed at supporting the wider community.
