Background

• I have completed courses in conflict resolution, anger management and mediation delivered by Newham Council and the N.H.S.

• I have previously undertaken extensive and varied duties as a youth and community worker for Greenwich Council and the Prince’s Trust.

• One of my most challenging and rewarding roles was a psychiatric nurse’s assistant in a high security psychiatric unit.

• I have been working at The Islamic Sharia Council as an Islamic counsellor and advisor for over two decades Alhamdulilah. My main role at The Islamic Sharia Council is to provide marital advice and counselling in accordance with the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah.

• I organise and deliver study programmes and practical activities in relation to marital issues, anger management, mediation and reconciliation based upon secular and Islamic principles.
