Background & Training
Abdul Haqq Mujahid has completed specialised training in conflict resolution, anger management, and mediation through Newham Council and the National Health Service.
He also brings extensive experience from his work as a youth and community worker with Greenwich Council and The Prince’s Trust.
Among his most demanding and rewarding roles was serving as a psychiatric nurse’s assistant within a high-security psychiatric unit, where he gained valuable frontline experience in mental health support.
Professional Experience
Abdul Haqq has been serving as an Islamic counsellor and advisor at the Islamic Sharia Council for over two decades.
His primary role involves providing marital advice and counselling grounded in the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, supporting individuals and families through complex personal and relational matters.

In addition to one-to-one counselling, he organises and delivers structured study programmes and practical workshops focusing on:
