Education

  • Primary, Intermediate, and Secondary Education in Sudan (1958–1971).

  • Institute of Technological Colleges, Khartoum, Sudan (1971–1972).

  • Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum, Sudan (1973–1980).

  • Memorized the Qur’an (Hafiz al-Qur’an) during university studies.

  • Completed several specialized courses in various Sharī‘ah subjects.

Experience

  • 1983–Present: Imam and President of the Islamic Foundation of Ireland; Deputy Chairman of the Irish Council of Imams; Patron of two state-funded Muslim primary schools in Dublin.

  • Designed and developed the Islamic Studies syllabus for the two Muslim schools in Dublin.

  • Authored eight textbooks currently used in the schools.

  • Published numerous booklets and leaflets on Islamic topics in English, and translated works from Arabic to English.
