Background
Education
Primary, Intermediate, and Secondary Education in Sudan (1958–1971).
Institute of Technological Colleges, Khartoum, Sudan (1971–1972).
Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum, Sudan (1973–1980).
Memorized the Qur’an (Hafiz al-Qur’an) during university studies.
Completed several specialized courses in various Sharī‘ah subjects.
Experience
1983–Present: Imam and President of the Islamic Foundation of Ireland; Deputy Chairman of the Irish Council of Imams; Patron of two state-funded Muslim primary schools in Dublin.
Designed and developed the Islamic Studies syllabus for the two Muslim schools in Dublin.
Authored eight textbooks currently used in the schools.
Published numerous booklets and leaflets on Islamic topics in English, and translated works from Arabic to English.
